Hexcopter @ DEFCON

CNET's Seth Rosenblatt (@b1g1nj4p4n) has a good pointer to a new eight-rotor Hexcopter that would be ideal for building out a DIY photo survelliance platform.  The new unit was demoed at DEFCON 2012.
